Foundation Golf Tournament
Over the past 12 years, the North Arkansas College Foundation 3-Person Scramble Golf Tournament presented by FedEx Freight has raised more than $300,000 for scholarships and instructional technology to benefit Northark students. The annual event is held each September.
There are several ways you can help us with this important fund-raiser. Along with teams (@$195 per team) and individual players (@$65 per player; individuals are assigned to teams), we need support as a sponsor. Without sponsors, the tournament wouldn’t be successful.
Levels of Sponsorship:
FedEx Freight Presenting Sponsor ($5,000)
Tournament Sponsors ($1,000) Tourney sponsors are recognized in all brochures and publicity, listed on all major signage, and invited to have lunch with our luncheon host, Cong. John Paul Hammerschmidt, and Northark President Dr. Jackie Elliott.
Prize Sponsors ($500) Prize sponsors are listed on a special banner at the scoreboard and recognized during the awards ceremony at the conclusion of the KHOZ 19th Hole Party.
Hole Sponsors ($150) Their names are displayed at the hole they sponsor during the tourney.
Team play
The entry fee is $65 per player ($195 per team) and includes the cost of the putting contest sponsored by Harrison’s Wal-Mart Supercenter. Lunch is provided between 11:30 a.m. and the 12:30 p.m. shotgun start.
Our previous tournaments have all been lots of fun, and this year’s event promises to be outstanding! Four teams will win Pro Shop merchandise prizes in each flight. Along with the putting contest, we’ll have prizes for the longest drive, closest to the hole on all the par 3’s, and special hole-in-one prizes, including an E-Z-Go Golf Cart on Hole #14, courtesy of Joe’s Tire Store - Goodyear, and $1,000 savings bonds on the other par 3’s, provided by First Federal Bank. Plus, we have good “ditty bag” gifts!
