The LPN to RN Bridge Program at Northark offers Practical Nurses a fast track to becoming a Registered Nurse. Once admitted to the Bridge program, nursing classes can be completed in one year (January-December) of intensive study. The links below provide information and forms for admission.

Application to the program requires the following be submitted by Sept. 1
- College Admission Application
- Program Application
- Data Sheet
- All College Transcripts
- Letter from employer verifying 1 year or 1500 hours worked over the past 3 years.
Once accepted, the following data is needed:
- Health Statement Form
Hepatitis B Vaccine Series - MMR or Positive Rubella Titer for Antibodies
- Tuberculin Skin Test
- Tdap
- Varicella Verification
- Current CPR certification
All persons seeking initial licensure as a nurse in Arkansas and Missouri are required to undergo a Criminal History Background Check. The criminal background check shall be completed no earlier than 12 months prior to the application for licensure by examination. The Arkansas State Police is the agency responsible for conducting the background checks in Arkansas and the Missouri State Police is the agency responsible for conducting the background checks in Missouri.
